Björn schreibt die Lyrics und/oder Prompts, Oliver und/oder Ailice (Björns künstliche Alter Egos) singen und musizieren, Björn bearbeitet dann noch mal das Ergebnis Spur für Spur im Audioprogramm. So oder ähnlich kann man Oliver Uhland beschreiben. Björn selbst hat nämlich das Problem, dass er weder singen kann (er sollte es auch wirklich besser lassen...) und kein Instrument beherrscht. Aber schreiben kann er! So kam es 2024 dazu, dass Björn die Vorzüge der künstlichen Intelligenz in der Musik kennen und lieben lernte!
Die ein oder andere böse Zunge behauptet das man dafür ja nur ein Knöpfchen drücken muss und fertig ist es. Wäre schön, aber ist nicht so! Je nach Idee sitzt Björn 1-2 Stunden am Liedtext, dann in der KI-Software die Prompts entwickeln und immer wieder anpassen, Texte müssen dann je nach Genre auch noch mal angepasst werden, dann das ganze runterladen, in eine Audiosoftware reinladen (manchmal für jedes einzelne Instrument eine Spur um dann jede Spur noch mal anpassen zu können) und dann ist das ganze erst fertig! Manchmal sitzt Björn mehrere Tage an einem Lied.

Björn writes the lyrics and/or prompts, while Oliver and/or Ailice (Björn's digital alter egos) handle the singing and instrumentation. After that, Björn fine-tunes the result track by track in his audio software. That is pretty much how you could describe Oliver Uhland. You see, Björn has a bit of a problem: he can neither sing (and trust me, he’s better off not trying...) nor does he play any instrument. But he can write! This is how, in 2024, Björn discovered and fell in love with the advantages of artificial intelligence in music.
Some skeptics might claim that you just have to push a button and it's done. That would be nice, but it’s not that simple! Depending on the idea, Björn spends one or two hours on the lyrics alone, then develops and refines prompts in the AI software over and over again. The texts often need further adjustments depending on the genre. Then comes the downloading and importing into audio software—sometimes using a separate track for every single instrument to allow for precise editing. Only then is the piece finished! Sometimes Björn spends several days on a single song.
